A suspicious package delivered to a research centre in the 100 block of Veterinary Road on the U of S campus has the attention of the Saskatoon Police Service’s Explosive Disposal Unit and Saskatoon Fire Hazmat crew right now.

Traffic restrictions are in place on Veterinary Road and the public is asked to stay away from the area until further notice. The package was delivered to the research centre early Tuesday afternoon with police responding at about 2 p.m. when the package was deemed to be of a suspicious nature.
