A traffic stop in Saskatoon Wednesday evening resulted in four people being arrested for weapons-related offences.
Saskatoon Police stopped a vehicle at about 11:45 Wednesday evening in the 800 block of 22nd Street West. The four occupants were arrested as officers could see a knife in plain view in the centre console…then found a can of bear spray and a second knife hidden under the seats upon further investigation. A 33-year-old woman, who was driving the vehicle, is charged with two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon. A 15-year-old boy was also charged with two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon as well as obstruction and breach of court conditions. In addition, a 29-year-old male and 17-year-old female were each charged with breach of court conditions.
