The Saskatoon North Partnership for Growth, or P4G, says the five municipal councils of the group have approved the P4G District Official Community Plan. The councils involved are Corman Park, Martensville, Osler, Saskatoon and Warman. The Community Plan is described as a foundational piece in the establishment of the new P4G Planning District that is proposed to replace the existing Corman Park-Saskatoon Planning District.
The Community Plan includes a vision, principles, and policies to guide long-term planning in the region. The plan looks ahead for the next 50 to 60 years.
Following the approval of a new District Zoning Bylaw early next year by Corman Park, the bylaws involved will be forwarded to the province for approval and formal establishment of the Planning District.
