The Saskatchewan Liberal Party has an interim leader. Robert Rudachyk has accepted the appointment. Earlier this month, then leader Naveed Anwar announced he was stepping down. With a little over six weeks before the election, the liberals found themselves leaderless. Rudachyk says his first task will be to continue building the Liberal team as a viable alternative at the ballot box. He will be running in the constituency of Saskatoon Westview.
