Just after 12:30 Saturday afternoon, the Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle collision between at truck and mini-van on Kensington Boulevard in the city’s Kensington neighbourhood.

Once crews arrived, they found the van on its side as a result of the collision.

Hydraulic tools were used to remove the windshield and roof to free the two elderly occupants who were then taken to hospital for further treatment.
