RCMP are still investigating to determine the cause of a fatal crash north of Osler Thursday afternoon. At 3:42 p.m. RCMP were advised that a driver had gone through a ditch and knocked over signs along Highway 11. A few minutes later a second report came in of an accident 2 kilometres south of the Osler turnoff on Highway 11.
There were three vehicles involved. A 79 year old man, the driver and lone occupant in a black truck, was pronounced deceased on the scene. The black truck was from the first report.
The 56 year old driver of a black SUV was also found deceased on scene. His 22 year old male passenger was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
The 70 year old driver and lone occupant of a third vehicle, in a tan coloured truck, was also taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Two Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic Reconstructionists have been working on the investigation and the accident was assisted by Corman Park Police, Osler Fire and Warman Fire Departments, Medavie Health Services and the Saskatchewan’s Coroner’s Service.
