Saskatoon Police have charged a 16 year-old boy with driving in excess of 200 kilometres per hour in a 90 kilometre per hour speed zone.
Shortly before 11:00 p.m. on Friday, a traffic officer clocked a vehicle at a speed of 208 kilometres per hour on Highway 16 near Zimmerman Road. The driver was issued a $1, 560 ticket and his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.
Police would like to remind motorists to obey the traffic laws and arrive at their destination safely.
