The City of Saskatoon is confirming that a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, by the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), had been riding on Saskatoon Transit.

The potential exposure time-frame is September 21st and 22nd, on routes 6, 61 and 65. The individual was wearing a mask while on the bus.

The city says the SHA will be following up and contacting individuals as per their contact tracing process and providing information to them on the next steps. The City will also be contacting all the bus operators on those routes and will support the SHA in their contact tracing process as necessary.

Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting have taken place on the buses since the positive case was identified.
