A 32-year-old man has been charged in Prince Albert with possession for the purpose of trafficking and numerous other offences in connection with a drug investigation last Friday.
Police arrested the accused at a hotel in the city, following up with searches of a hotel room, vehicle and a residence north of Prince Albert. It’s alleged that various amounts of crystal methamphetamine, cocaine and pills were seized along with more than $6,000 cash, a handgun with ammunition, drug paraphernalia and a bullet proof vest.
The man’s name has not been released. He made his first court appearance Monday in Prince Albert.
