A person or persons who have tested positive for COVID-19 may have been infected while at Market Mall and on a Saskatoon Transit bus for a couple of days last month. The Saskatchewan Health Authority is notifying the public about possibly being exposed on September 24th and 25th…Following are the locations and times…
- September 24 –
- Market Mall food court, from 11:30 am-12:30 pm
- Saskatoon Transit Route 19 or 83 (Market Mall to Centre Mall), from 3 pm -4 pm
- Centre Mall, from 4pm-6pm
- September 25 –
- Market Mall, from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
- Market Mall, from 3-5 pm
As is always the case with an S-H-A COVID-19 exposure warning, Public Health officials are advising individuals who were at these locations on the specified dates and times to self-monitor for 14 days, and if you have had or develop symptoms of COVID-19, immediately self-isolate and call HealthLine 811, your physician or nurse practitioner to arrange for testing.
The City says it will be contacting all the bus Operators on those routes and will support the SHA in their contact tracing process as necessary.
Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting have taken place on the buses since the positive case was identified.
