The first ever online, land-based Wcihitowin Indigenous Engagement Conference is underway with close to 1,000 people from across Canada and around the world attending, virtually. Neal Kewistep is a member of the organizing committee. He says, “This year’s conference provides us with an opportunity to share the teachings of Indigenous peoples across our nation and further to continue building an inclusive community.” This year’s theme explores Indigenous worldviews and natural law. The two-day conference began on Wednesday.
