Starting November 1, hockey leagues in Saskatchewan in every age group will be allowed to play games in six team groupings.
Exhibition games will be allowed, starting October 17. Fans will also be allowed in the stands. Assigned seated arenas will allow for 50 percent capacity while unassigned seated rinks will allow for a maximum of 150 fans at one time. Saskatchewan Hockey Association General Manager Kelly McClintock says the S-J-H-L will have to follow some different rules this year surrounding facilities, billeting and team travel. At this time, teams playing in provincials will not be allowed to draw players from other teams as that would breach the six-team groupings, but that situation will be addressed as the season moves forward.
