Jim Rhode describes himself as a lifelong Saskatoon resident, business owner, community volunteer and family man. He has served as Chair of both the Saskatoon Regional Health Authority and 3sHealth, and as a board member of eHealth Saskatchewan.
One of his priorities is for better decisions and better questions at the Council level. He believes that Council has been out of touch on a lot of recent decisions, going around in circles and wasting time on issues that do nothing to help the economy or keep residents safe.
Rhode would like to see less red tape for businesses to help keep people employed and he supports the core services, like fire and police, but says Council still needs to take a thoughtful approach to their funding.
