The Yorkton RCMP Detachment is lifting the restrictions to public access for non-emergency matters today (tues).
Regular employment/volunteer criminal record checks and civil fingerprinting services will resume.
For anyone wishing to speak to an officer in-person within the building, a plexiglass barrier is in place at the front desk. Hand sanitizing stations and masks are available in the lobby.
A front-line officer at the detachment tested positive for COVID-19 last month, and the detachment was to be closed to the public for non-emergency reasons until October 12th.
