Two drivers were ticketed for street racing and speeding in Saskatoon Wednesday night.

Saskatoon Police say they pulled over the two vehicles around 9 p.m. on McOrmond Drive near Fedoruk Road.

They were fined $205 each for racing and $538 each for speeding. Police allege they were going 96 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

Both drivers were 18 years old. And one of them was additionally charged with a vehicle equipment offence. Both vehicles were impounded for 30 days.
