48 year old Randy Darryl Fontaine of the Dene First Nation is charged with Attempted Murder after an incident on the First Nation. Last Saturday night, just after ten o’clock La Loche RCMP and EMS were told of an injured man. He was found to have life-threatening injuries, was taken to hospital in La Loche, and then transferred to hospital in Saskatoon. Police say he has survived his injuries. Fontaine has already appeared in Provincial Court and will make his next appearance on November 9th. He was remanded in custody.
