SaskMetis Economic Development Corporation and Indigenous Services Canada have teamed up to create a $4.3 million partnership. The objective is to offer a COVID-19 impact fund for Metis community-owned businesses and micro businesses that were unable to access prior COVID funding programs. It’s non-repayable, intended to relieve financial pressure, allowing the businesses to strengthen operations and position them for recovery.
