Ryan Meili and the Saskatchewan NDP were in Moose Jaw Friday, to ask voters in his hometown to reject what he calls Scott Moe’s plan for dangerous cuts during a pandemic.
Meili says the SaskParty has let families down and he believes it’s time to put a stop to Scott Moe’s plans that he says will make life harder for families across the province. The NDP points to the SaskParty cutting provincial funding to Wakamow Valley Park, and closing the Moose Jaw Sasktel Call centre, Ministry of the Environment Office and SaskEnergy office.
Meili says the NDP will stop cuts to healthcare and education, and invest in good jobs for workers in Moose Jaw and all of Saskatchewan with a Sask-First procurement plan to ensure that roads, schools and hospitals are built by Saskatchewan companies and workers.
