A third of Canadians feel they will never financially recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. FP Canada says 42 per cent of Canadians surveyed feel they are not in a strong enough financial position to handle the challenges of the second wave of COVID. Forty-one per cent say they are in a worse financial position today than they were before the pandemic. More than a third say they have already had to draw from personal savings or take on new debt to make up for money shortfalls and cover expenses. The survey found that Canadians aged 45 to 54 are struggling the most.
