The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities is commending everyone who ran in the provincial election.
SARM President Ray Orb says, “SARM looks forward to working with all those who have a part to play in shaping our province and advancing the priorities of Saskatchewan’s rural municipalities”.
SARM says that ensuring reliable broadband is accessible to everyone in our province is a key issue that must be addressed. The organization says it is fundamental for both the economic and social well-being of businesses and residents and has proven critical in maintaining the delivery of healthcare, education and other key supports during COVID-19.
SARM has also asked for continued, predictable municipal support, municipal policing levies that match level of service received, and ongoing support for our agriculture producers.
