With COVID-19 top of mind, this list outlines the expectations and procedures in place when members of the public attend 9 Mile Legacy facilities for events, meetings, tours and other public gatherings (each an “Event”).
At our production facility, we have restricted gathering sizes for Events to 30 people, in accordance with the Banquets and Conference Facilities Guidelines. Public and staff must maintain a minimum physical distance of two metres from other in all areas (with the exception of household and extended household contacts).
At our flagship nanobrewery, we have restricted gathering sizes for Events to 18 people, in accordance with Restaurants and Licensed Establishments Guidelines Guests are asked to maintain a 2 metre distance from our bar and other guests and no more than 6 guests will be seated at a table at any given time (no comingling of tables). Note, tours of the flagship nanobrewery are not offered at this time due to spacing restrictions.
Mandatory survey screening (using the SaskHealth Self-Assessment Tool) is required by all staff prior to the start of their shift. Employees considered unfit to work will be instructed to immediately return home and contact public health authorities.
Guests who are ill or displaying symptoms of COVID-19, even if mild, must stay home and may not enter our facilities or participate in Events.
Both locations are “mask mandatory” locations – meaning that we ask guests and staff to wear masks when on premise during Events. Exceptions are made while eating and drinking or for speakers making a public presentation as part of the Event (provided that 2 metre distancing can be maintained during said presentation). If guests do not have a mask, one will be provided free of charge.
We have enhanced cleaning protocols at both locations with increased cleaning and sanitizing schedules prior to the Event to ensure the safety of our facility. Hand sanitizer will be made available during the public gathering free of charge.
Washrooms are available to guests at both facilities and are subject to increased cleaning and sanitation procedures.
A roster of attendees (including contact information) will be kept by us to assist with contact tracing in the event of a COVID-19 infection event.
At the end of the Event, staff will be in place to carefully instruct attendees
