Here’s one for the football enthusiast who is also looking at professional development!
The Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation and the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce are putting together a professional development webinar for November 5 with Riders’ head coach Craig Dickenson as the keynote speaker. The webinar, titled “Third and Leadership”, will, of course, be done virtually from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. next Thursday. The cost to virtually attend “Third and Leadership” will be $50 for regular admission tickets, which are eligible for tax receipts, and $25 for students. Proceeds from the webinar go to the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation and the many youth-focused health, sport and education programs they support. Following is the news release from the Riders…
ATTEND THE THIRD AND LEADERSHIP WEBINAR WITH HEAD COACH CRAIG DICKENSON
The Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation, alongside the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, are thrilled to present an exciting professional development webinar, Third and Leadership, with Roughriders Head Coach Craig Dickenson.
Dickenson has dedicated more than two decades of his life to coaching and has made a name for himself as a passionate teacher and leader of men. In his first year as the Roughriders Head Coach he led the team to a spectacular 13 and 5 season, securing the first place in the west division for the first time in over a decade and was named the 2019 West Division Coach of the Year.
“We are so privileged to have a coach like Craig Dickenson as the Head Coach of our Saskatchewan Roughriders,” said Cindy Fuchs, Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation. “We’ve seen how successful his style of leadership has been on the football field, and we are delighted to bring it to a wider audience. From business leaders to little league coaches, you won’t want to miss out on learning from one of the best.”
A proven champion, Dickenson has won two Grey Cups over his 17-season CFL coaching career. Dickenson also coached in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers and spent several seasons at the collegiate level with his alma mater, the University of Montana, as well as at Utah State.
Third and Leadership will be held virtually on Nov. 5 from 1:15-2:15 p.m. Saskatchewan Time. Tickets for this special webinar are $50 for regular admission and $25 for students. Regular admission tickets are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
Proceeds from “Third and Leadership” go to the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation and the programs they support including the Northern Saskatchewan Football League, Amateur Football, KidSport and other youth-focused health, sport and education programs.
