Prince Albert Police arrested Jade Ermine who was the subject of a manhunt in the Prince Albert area this week.

Following an incident Tuesday afternoon, which neither police nor RCMP have yet to provide details about, the search for the 30 year old man led to RCMP issuing an alert that there was an increased police presence west and north of Prince Albert.

The city police service says Ermine was taken into custody following a brief foot chase on 13th Street East around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Ermine is also wanted by the Prince Albert Police Service on several outstanding warrants for charges including fight from police, possession of stolen property and breach of court orders.

Prince Albert Police are working with RCMP and more charges are expected.
