The city of Saskatoon says there has been a strong turn-out in the advance polls for the civic election including nearly 600 people who took advantage of the first-ever drive-thru voting. Nearly ten thousand people attended the advance poll locations in the first three day. That advance polling continues through Thursday. No matter your Ward, you can vote at any advance location in the city.

The city says the election office is working hard to complete processing the unprecedented demand for mail-in ballots. To be counted those must be received at the election office before 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Voters who receive main-in ballots on or after November 2nd, given the uncertainty of mailing times, should plan to drop their ballot off in-person or have someone drop it off for them.

Starting Wednesday there are four additional locations where these can be dropped off. Note, the mail-in ballots cannot be dropped off at advance poll location. If the mail-in ballot was rejected, voters can attend in-person voting at advance polls this week or on Election Day, November 9th.
