Big River RCMP are trying to track down an SUV which is believed involved in a drive by shooting.
Around 2 o’clock Tuesday morning, someone in a dark SUV fired at a community Check Point on the Big River First Nation. The vehicle is also described as having damage to the front and was carrying between five and six people, all in dark clothing. A second silver colour vehicle was also in attendance at the time but not believed to be involved in the shooting.
No one at the Check Point was hurt and there wasn’t any damage to property as a result of the shooting. RCMP say if you see the dark coloured SUV or silver car, do not approach, but call your local police service immediately.
Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Big River RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime stoppers.
