The Prime Minister passed on his condolences in the passing of a former Senator from Saskatchewan. Justin Trudeau says Robert Peterson was born in Rose Valley and dedicated his life to building better communities in his beloved home province.
Bob Peterson served in the Senate from 2005 to 2012 and engaged on issues including rural poverty agriculture and Canada’s energy future. The Prime Minister describes him as a great Saskatchewanian and says when he retired he reminded his fellow Senators that “politics is people.”
