Regina Police are searching for suspects involved in two firearm related incidents this weekend.
On Saturday at approximately 4:39 p.m., police were dispatched the 1200 block of Angus St., for a report of a weapons offence involving a firearm. Early information suggested a woman walked up to an address in the 1200 block of Angus Street and was speaking with a resident at the back door, when someone shot out the front window of the home. The woman that was at the back door, then ran to the front of the address and boarded a vehicle parked on the street. There were three men inside the vehicle. The vehicle then sped off southbound on Angus St. Then at approximately 7:58 p.m., police were dispatched to the 700 block of Dewdney Avenue East in regards to a second weapons offence involving a firearm. In this instance, the victims were driving northbound on Park Street when a vehicle cut them off and pulled over to the parking lane. As the victims passed the suspect vehicle, the driver pointed a firearm out the window and shot at the victim s car.
The female suspect is described as Indigenous, with red/brownish hair, wearing a grey coat, black pants and white shoes. There was no description of the three males. The suspect vehicle is described only as a grey four door car.
The driver, was described as an Indigenous man, wearing a dark toque and dark clothing with a surgical mask over his face. There were two other males inside the vehicle, only described as wearing surgical masks.
The suspect vehicle is described as a silver car, possibly a Chevrolet Cruze with black winter rims.
Fortunately, nobody was injured during either of these two incidents. The investigation is ongoing.
