It didn’t take long for a witness to come forward after Saskatoon Police released a picture of a red mustang that was seen on security camera driving in the 200 block of Avenue S South on Sunday morning.

Officers from the Major Crime Section are looking for possible witnesses in connection to the city’s most recent homicide where a 25 year old man was shot in the 18-hundred block of 20th Street West. The picture was released to the public this morning (Thurs) and within hours, the occupant of the car contacted the investigative team.

The Police Service thanks the public for helping in the investigation of Saskatoon’s 10th homicide of the year.
