Moose Jaw Police have fined an individual $2,800 for having tested positive for COVID-19 and not self isolating for 14 days. The Moose Jaw Police Service says in coordination with the Saskatchewan Health Authority they have notified and advised members of the public who had contact with the person who was positive for COVID-19. A Moose Jaw individual was also fined recently, also $2,800, for hosting a party that had more attendees than the public health orders specify. That person went on to launch a go-fund-me page to pay off the fine.
