Saskatchewan Polytechnic has joined a network of industrial companies, start-ups, researchers and government-funded labs to promote collaboration and training to unlock new opportunities. Together, they are called the Next Generation Manufacturing Supercluster. Sask Polytechnic will work on something called, “The Internet of Things,” machine learning, cybersecurity, and additive manufacturing projects. They will also support related training. The Supercluster was created to build up advanced manufacturing capabilities in Canada, incorporating technologies like robotics and 3D printing.
