The Prairie Football Conference returns to action tomorrow when the Wildcats entertain the Huskies in an all-Edmonton contest. The five-time defending Prairie Football Conference and Canadian Junior Football League-champion Saskatoon Hilltops are idle until Sunday when they visit the Regina Thunder. Once again, 92-9, THE BULL is the broadcast home for Hilltops football. The broadcast starts at 2:30 p.m. with play-by-play at 3 p.m. The Toppers’ first home game isn’t until Saturday, September 7th against Regina. Game time is 7 p.m. at Saskatoon Minor Football Field.

The Dogs open the 2019 Canada West University Conference regular-season on Friday, August 30th when they visit the Manitoba Bisons in Winnipeg. Once again, CJWW is your broadcast home for Huskies’ football. Pre-game coverage starts at 5 p.m. with the play-by-play at 6 p.m. Saskatchewan’s first home game is Friday, September 6th against the U-B-C Thunderbirds. Kick-off time is 7 p.m. at Griffiths Stadium.

The Saskatoon Blades open training camp Sunday with registration, medicals, meetings and fitness testing. The Bridge City Bunch will hit the SaskTel Centre ice on Monday with between 70 and 80 players taking part. The four-team scrimmage tournament for the Kirkness Cup runs through Tuesday.
The Blades will open their pre-season schedule on Friday, August 30th in Regina against the Pats. Saskatoon will be the home team, once again, for the annual exhibition game in Warman against the Prince Albert Raiders on Friday, September 6th. Game time is 7 p.m. The Blue and Gold will host the Winnipeg ICE in a pair of pre-season games at SaskTel Centre on Friday and Saturday, September 13th and 14th. Game time both nights is 7 p.m. Both of those games will be aired on 98-COOL, beginning with the Sardinia Family Restaurant pre-game show at 6.
Saskatoon opens the regular-season on Friday, September 20th in Prince Albert. The broadcast on 98-COOL starts at 6 p.m. and the play-by-play at 7. The same teams meet Saturday, September 21st for the Blades’ home opener at 7 o’clock at SaskTel Centre.
The Prince Albert Raiders will open their training camp on Friday, August 30th with on-ice sessions beginning at 5 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre. P-A plays their first pre-season game on Wednesday, September 4th against the Moose Jaw Warriors. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre.
