The University of Saskatchewan has a new Provost and vice-president academic. Dr. Airini has been hired for a five-year term beginning in February. She will lead the development of an academic agenda given the university’s current financial realities. The university says, “Her award-winning research and development initiatives in Canada and internationally have directly shaped universities and 21st century education systems to close achievement gaps at school and post-secondary levels.”
