Two males have been arrested and face multiple charges following a shooting that occured Wednesday in Moose Jaw.
Police arrested Dustyn Halyk without incident, following a shooting earlier that morning. Five charges with regards to discharging a firearm and possession of a firearm were assessed to Halyk. He has appeared before a judge and has been remanded in custody. Police followed up Halyk’s arrest, executing a search warrant on a residence and found a loaded sawed off firearm, not believed to be used in the shooting. However, Chris Waffle was arrested after being found to be in possession of methamphetamine and cocaine. Waffle faces five charges…has already appeared before a judge and has been remanded in custody. Moose Jaw Police continue to investigate.
