Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools says on Sunday, the Saskatchewan Health Authority told them of a single positive COVID-19 case in an individual that affects two schools: St. Bernard and St. Luke. Risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low. The affected classrooms or cohorts at both schools will switch to online instruction starting Monday.
Earlier on Sunday, Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools said they were told of a positive COVID-19 case in an individual at 5 of their schools. Bethlehem Catholic High School, St. Dominic , cole St. Peter , cole Holy Mary Catholic School in Martensville, and E.D. Feehan.
The affected classrooms or cohorts at all five schools switch to online instruction as of Monday.
Prairie Spirit School Division says the SHA has told them of a case of COVID-19 in an individual at: Stobart Community School, Duck Lake; Valley Manor Elementary School, Martensville; and South Corman Park School. The school communities have been informed.
And, the SHA is warning of an increased risk of exposure to COVID-19 at Original Joe’s, 801 – 15th St. E., Prince Albert. A person or persons attended while infectious November 12-16, from open to close.
Anyone who was at this location on the specified dates must immediately self-isolate and call HealthLine 811, your physician or nurse practitioner to arrange for testing if symptomatic. You may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
We have also been told, unofficially that two teams in the Adult Safe Hockey League have had games postponed and all are asked to self-isolate until December 2nd. A player on one of the teams is said to have tested positive for COVID-19 last Thursday.
