Cancellations have led to re-scheduling and keeping 10 of 12 S-J-H-L teams in action this coming weekend.

With a Melfort player having contracted COVID-19, placed in self-isolation, and the Mustangs postponing their activities until November 29, plus Flin Flon pausing their operations until after Christmas because of the Level Red shutdown of sports in Manitoba, their scheduled opponents for this weekend won’t be idle. The Battlefords, who were to tangle with Melfort, will play a home-and-home against La Ronge, who were to take on the Bombers. A January 19 North Stars-Ice Wolves’ contest in La Ronge will now be played Friday while the February 10 meeting between the two squads in North Battleford will now be held Saturday.

Elsewhere, the Prairie Junior League’s Fort Knox and Regina Silver Foxes squads have paused all team activities until November 29 as per instructions from the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The Fort Knox team had previously announced a member of their organization had tested positive for COVID-19.
