The City of Saskatoon says they have an employee, who worked at three rec centres in the city, and recently tested positive for COVID-19.

This individual worked at Lakewood Civic Centre, Saskatoon Field House and the Shaw Centre. The city believes the positive case is unlikely to be linked to transmission within the workplace.

To waylay concerns the public may have, the City reiterated it’s protocols and precautions which includes mandatory masks for employees and the public, proper hygiene, safety signage and markers, and acrylic barriers for some staff.
