Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools says the Saskatchewan Health Authority has found a positive COVID-19 case in an individual at each of cole St. Peter School and Holy Cross High School. Risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low.
The SHA has determined there is no risk to students at cole St. Peter, and therefore there is no need for further action at the school. All classes will continue as scheduled.
Affected cohorts at Holy Cross switch to online instruction as of Wednesday.
Centennial Collegiate is moving to online classes, the entire school, on Thursday. That decision was made Monday. But Saskatoon Public Schools says the Saskatchewan Health Authority has declared an outbreak of COVID-19 at Centennial Collegiate and Aden Bowman Collegiate. There have been 16 positive cases of COVID-19 at Centennial Collegiate while Aden Bowman has had five. Aden Bowmen will continue to operate at Level 3 of the Safe school Plan with students attending in-person classes on alternate days.
