The Saskatchewan Health Authority is announcing the temporary closure of Alternate Level of Care beds at Lanigan Hospital until further notice.
The SHA says this is due to active COVID-19 activity in the area, staffing challenges in Lanigan, and required redeployment of health care providers to other health services to support care. Lab and x-ray services are not affected.

Patients affected by the closure will be temporarily relocated to other facilities in the area as beds become available.

In the event of an emergency people should call 9-1-1 or visit the emergency department in Humboldt, Watrous, or Wynyard. Non-urgent health related questions can be directed to the provincial HealthLine by calling 8-1-1.
