Two men are facing drug charges after a traffic stop Saturday night.
Around 10:15, officers in the area of 20th Street and 2nd Avenue conducted a traffic stop and found the driver to be driving while disqualified and without a valid license. Officers then allegedly found drug paraphernalia, a knife at the feet of the passenger, and a bag containing 234 grams of methamphetamine, 2 mils of THC oil, 69 grams of marihuana, and 9 grams of marihuana resin.
The two men, both 39-years-old, are charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine. The passenger is also charged with Possession of Proceeds of Crime, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and breach of court conditions. They were also issued tickets under the Cannabis Control Act.
