Friday night was the first check stop of the Saskatoon Police Service holiday campaign and they took seven drivers off the road. The police service says it was for alcohol and drug driving offences as well as vehicle impounds. Officers also handed out hundreds of coffee cards to those who drove sober. Saskatoon Police say residents can expect more check stops throughout December.
