There have been two more deaths at Luther Special Care Home in Saskatoon.
LutherCare Communities says nine residents have passed away since the outbreak was declared on November 17th, and have been determined by health officials to have been COVID-19 related. There are currently six active resident COVID-19 cases. Twenty-four staff of the home have tested positive for the virus since the outbreak was declared, with not all of those instances being a result of contracting the illness at work.
There are four active resident cases at Luther Tower Independent Living. Visitations are restricted.
Residents are isolating in their suites.
