A 43 year old Regina man is facing charges after police allege that he ran nine red lights, and six stops signs, all while evading police Wednesday night. The evening began around 10:30 when police were dispatched to what was described as dangerous driving in progress, in the area of McCarthy Boulevard and Dewdney Avenue.
A police unit initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle initially stopped and then sped away. A second traffic stop was also unsuccessful. It ended when the driver got stuck and was arrested without further incident.
Preston Dean BOWMAN, of Regina, is charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance, Fail or Refuse to Comply with a Breath Demand, Flight from a Peace Officer, and Obstruct a Peace Officer.
BOWMAN was released on an Undertaking to appear in Provincial Court on April 12th.
