A recent survey from the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce shows that its members agree with the government’s increased restrictions for businesses rather than a total lock-down.
The Chamber surveyed 431 people from all parts of the province in all sectors.
CEO Steve McLellan says most respondents felt any person or business not adhering to the policies should be fined heavily to reflect the importance of the protocols. It was also suggested that everyone at a private gathering that is above the mandated limit should be fined, not just the organizer and the same thing goes for rallies where masks aren’t worn. The suggestion was also made that the government needs to hire more inspectors to ensure the compliance of health orders.
