Prince Albert RCMP were on the scene of a serious multi-vehicle collision on Highway 3 west of Prince Albert Monday night.
Traffic was being re-routed and drivers were advised to plan alternate routes and to follow traffic restrictions.
RCMP had reports that there was ice and blowing snow over the roadway creating extremely poor road conditions.
In a separate release, Parkland Ambulance said they responded to a vehicle collision on highway #3 about 5 kilometres west of the city around 5:30.
Paramedics cared for a 3 year old girl and 34 year old woman, both with injuries. They were taken to hospital in good and stable condition!
