Lloydminster RCMP are reporting that a woman who went missing on New Year’s Day has been found dead.

RCMP say that since 79 year-old Elizabeth Davidson was reported missing on Friday, several searches were conducted throughout Lloydminster, leading to the discovery of her body.

At this time RCMP report there is no indication that any criminality was involved in her death and further updates are not anticipated.
