Saskatoon Police are investigating a homicide. Just after two o’clock Wednesday morning, Patrol officers responded to a disturbance at a home in the 200 block of Wakaw Place in Lakeview. They encountered a 34 year old man who was subsequently arrested after a conductive energy weapon was deployed. Officers found a deceased 60 year old woman in the residence. A 65 year old man, a resident of the home, was taken to hospital by Medavie Health Services with serious but not life threatening injuries.
The 34 year old is in custody. The investigation continues. Police say the incident was not random and there is no threat to the public.
