Saskatoon Police say the 34-year-old man arrested as a suspect in a homicide investigation has been charged with one count of Second Degree Murder and one count of Attempted Murder.

Saskatoon Police were called out to the Lakeview neighbourhood around 2 Wednesday morning.
When officers arrived on the 200 block of Wakaw Place they found a 60 year old woman dead inside a home and an injured 65 year old man. He suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. The 34 year old man was apprehended using a conducted energy weapon.
He will make his first court appearance Thursday, via video.
