Saskatoon Police say they stopped to have a word with a man who was urinating on the side of a business in the 1200 block of Idylwyld Drive North but he took off on foot headed for a truck in the parking lot.
This was around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday and officers say they observed several bottles of open liquor inside the pick-up. The individual allegedly refused to exit the vehicle, there was a brief altercation and he was arrested for obstruction.
Police say they also determined he had a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest and was breachign his conditions. A man and woman also in the truck were arrested after police searched the vehicle and reportedly found prepackaged cocaine along with a rifle and ammunition.
A 19 year old La Ronge man, a 27 year old La Ronge woman and a 32 year old man from Air Ronge are all charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and various firearms-related offences. The 19-year-old man is also charged with three counts each of Resisting Arrest and Breach of Conditions. The 32-year-old man is also charged with Possession of the Proceeds of Crime.
