The Regina Police Service has issued its ninth COVID-19 ticket under the Saskatchewan Health Act for Violating Public Health Orders.
Around 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday night, police officers answered a call to downtown Regina where a 52 year old man who had tested positive for COVID-19, knew he had the virus, but was reportedly refusing to self isolate and had left his accommodations.
Officers found the individual in question in the area of 13th Street and Albert Avenue, issued him a $2,800 ticket and escorted him home.
