The Saskatoon Tribal Council’s Back-To-School Carnival attracted about 25-hundred students.
The annual event at the White Buffalo Youth Lodge is meant to celebrate their cultural roots and mark the return to school.
The Carnival featured music, traditional food, a talent competition and face painting.
Youngsters also got to enjoy the bouncy castles and heard traditional stories from Elders.
Nutrien and their suppliers provided backpacks filled with school supplies for students between the ages of 5-and-17.
